I was surprised by how much I liked this movie.
Before W.E. was released to theaters critics were already panning it ,because it is a film made by Madonna.
I'm going to give credit where credit is due.
W.E. is the story about the lives of Wallis Simpson the American Duchess Of Windsor and her husband Edward VIII who was then the Prince of Wales, but abdicated the throne, in order to marry Wallis a twice divorced woman.
Madonna really did her thing with this movie. I think she captured the time periods beautifully, and told a great love story in the process.
Sadly the real Wallis Simpson was not only a racists, but an extremely classless woman. Her legend outshining her reality.
I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars.
And Madonna also gets 5 stars as a director,she really did a fantastic job!
