I love my husband....
But according to this article I read a few days ago, it is very taboo to say that online!?!
People hate the girl who talks about how much they love their boyfriend, husband or other half.
Its like saying you are not a individual and you have no life without them.
Well I'm no longer a individual, that's what being in a serious relationship is all about. I'm married meaning there is no more Sheryl, its Sheryl and Shawn, that's the promise I made to God, that's what I signed up for when we registered our marriage license, that's the vow we took almost 5 years ago.
And my life wouldn't be much of a life without my husband, in fact I could not imagine life without Shawn.
If saying that online is a taboo then so be it.
When you're married you are sharing your life with the one you love, your whole life, family, friends, your past, your present, your future and everything in between. There is no you anymore, its us. You can no longer be selfish, because if you are , your whole relationship will be effected by that.
And if the general public can't understand that, then tough.
I love, love....
I'm one of those people who loves seeing cute status updates about relationships. I always thumbs up or comment when someone talks about their relationships. I really don't get why sharing your love online is such a bad thing. I would rather see someone's happiness in a status update or tweet then anything else. But it seems like its so much easier for some people to complain about their lives or say something sarcastic or negative , then expressing their love.
When you are in love I guess you look at the world in a different light, I find the happiness love brings, that's why I get my joy from cute status updates about relationships.
I want everyone to be in love and find that happiness.
The past 5 years have been a blessing, I waited my whole life for Shawn. I still look at him and feel the same Oh my God he's looking at me, butterflies, I just love you giddy feelings I did when we first met, and I think that's pretty good. I hope when we are old and gray that we will still have those feelings for each other.
And if saying that online is a taboo....so be it!
